About Company:
Tastee Fried Chicken was founded by Olayinka Pamela Adedayo. It began as an extension of Tastee Pot, an outdoor catering company serving Nigerian and continental food at special events. The catering company still exists as Tastee Fried Chicken's catering operation. In 1997 Mrs. Adedayo incorporated Tastee Fried Chicken and opened her first location in Surulere, Lagos State. She based her restaurant on the business model of the American fast food chicken restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken, where she had previously worked as a manager. Since opening its first location, it has grown to 14 restaurants.
Job Description:
We are seeking a high-precision Outlet Auditor to serve as the financial guardian of our Victoria Island operations. In a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment, profit margins are protected through meticulous oversight. This role is designed for a "Loss Prevention Strategist", someone who can balance the books, verify physical stock, and ensure that every naira from the front-end makes it to the bank.
Your mission is to provide an independent and objective layer of control over the outlet’s daily activities. You will be responsible for the entire audit lifecycle: from cash evacuation and bank lodgment verification to material usage analysis and the physical reconciliation of perishable and non-perishable supplies. If you possess a "Zero-Leakage" mindset and the analytical grit to investigate product shortages, we want you to join our team.
Requirements:
1. Cash Governance & Revenue Reconciliation
Front-End Accountability: Perform daily cash counts of main sales and petty cash, ensuring a perfect match between physical currency and machine-generated receipts.
Fiscal Security: Manage the cash evacuation process and meticulously review bank lodgments to ensure that all sales revenue is secured and accounted for.
Expense Oversight: Review and sign off on all authorized outlet expenses, ensuring strict adherence to company approval protocols.
2. Inventory Integrity & Supply Chain Audit
Verification of Inward Goods: Conduct physical verification of all incoming supplies from the Warehouse, CPU, or third-party vendors for both perishable and non-perishable items.
Internal Logistics Audit: Audit Product Transfer Notes (PTN) and cross-reference them with Product Movement Forms (PMF) to ensure no items are lost in transit between units.
Production Oversight: Manage daily stock-taking of closing items at the production unit and review stock control sheets to ensure production matches consumption.
3. Performance Analysis & Reporting
Shortage Detection: Review the Daily Product Comparative Analysis (DPCS) to identify gaps between theoretical and actual stock, investigating any identified shortages immediately.
Material Utilization: Prepare and analyze Material Usage Reports to detect inefficiencies or unauthorized waste within the production unit.
Payables Review: Oversee the accounts payable report to ensure vendor obligations are accurate and processed according to company standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Relevant degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field.
Experience: Proven experience in an Internal Audit, Control, or Inventory Management role (experience in QSR or Retail is highly preferred).
Location: Must be able to work full-time in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Core Competencies
Numerical Mastery: Exceptional ability to work with figures and perform rapid, accurate reconciliations.
Integrity: Unwavering ethical standards and the ability to work independently without bias.
Attention to Detail: An "Extraordinary Eye" for spotting discrepancies in reports and physical counts.
