Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the dual landscape of our e-commerce platform and physical retail/logistics activities. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between digital order workflows and physical last-mile delivery. You will be responsible for the entire operational ecosystem—ensuring that from the moment a customer clicks "buy" to the moment the package arrives at their door, the process is seamless, cost-effective, and scalable.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in supply chain coordination and warehouse management, with a proven ability to implement SOPs that drive productivity in fast-paced, urban market environments.
Requirements:
Operational Leadership & Process Design
End-to-End Oversight: Manage daily operations across all online sales channels and physical retail locations to ensure brand consistency and efficiency.
SOP Development: Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that allow the business to scale without compromising quality.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the central nervous system of the company, coordinating between sales, logistics, warehousing, and customer service teams.
E-Commerce & Logistics Excellence
Fulfillment Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of an order, including processing, rapid fulfillment, returns management, and overall delivery performance.
Supply Chain Optimization: Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses and outlets, implementing control systems to eliminate stock-outs and minimize overstocking.
Last-Mile Supervision: Lead warehousing and dispatch operations, negotiating with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Performance & Team Growth
Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze operational data to improve margins, control budgets, and prepare performance reports for executive leadership.
KPI Accountability: Track and improve order accuracy, inventory turnover ratios, and logistics cost-efficiency.
People Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics. (An MBA or relevant professional certification is a significant advantage).
Experience:
5+ years of experience in operations management within an e-commerce, retail, or omnichannel business.
Proven track record in managing warehousing, fulfillment, and last-mile delivery (particularly in urban Nigerian markets).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management software, and e-commerce dashboards.
Strong background in process automation and supply chain optimization.
Core Competencies:

Analytical Depth: Ability to use data to make informed decisions regarding productivity and costs.
