Job Description:
We are seeking a sophisticated and high-achieving Sales Executive to join our team in Ikeja GRA. In this role, you will act as a consultant and advisor to a discerning clientele, providing expert guidance on luxury merchandise. You will be expected to blend deep product knowledge with exceptional interpersonal skills to create a premium shopping experience that drives brand loyalty and sales growth.
The ideal candidate has a "customer-first" mindset, a passion for high-end retail, and the analytical ability to support back-end operations like inventory management and visual merchandising.
Requirements:
Consultative Sales & Customer Advisory
Client Advisor: Serve as a dedicated consultant for both walk-in and over-the-phone customers, providing friendly and efficient service.
Product Expertise: Maintain an exhaustive understanding of all merchandise to help customers make informed, premium selections.
Solution-Oriented Selling: Actively listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their lifestyle.
Upselling & Cross-selling: Suggest complementary items to increase the value of each transaction and maximize customer satisfaction.
Retail Operations & Merchandising
Floor Management: Maintain visual merchandising and selling floor standards to ensure a luxury aesthetic at all times.
Point of Sale (PoS): Efficiently process transactions and check-out functions using internal PoS systems.
Inventory Support: Assist in pricing, markdowns, restocking, and periodic physical inventory exercises.
Outlet Maintenance: Support the Outlet Manager in executing off-shelf displays and general store maintenance.
Service Excellence & Strategy
Issue Resolution: Effectively handle customer service concerns with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
Promotional Execution: Leverage promotional event information and market trends to maximize sales opportunities.
Reporting: Provide detailed sales and inventory reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (a Master’s Degree is considered a distinct advantage).
Seniority: 1–3 years of experience in a luxury retail environment or high-end customer service role.
Availability: Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Required Competencies
Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for high-stakes client interaction.
Technical Knowledge: Deep product knowledge, including familiarity with different skin types (if applicable to the luxury category).
Analytical Skills: Strong organizational and analytical competencies for business reporting and inventory tracking.
