Job Description:

• As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Administrator & Network Security Engineer to join our team and help fortify our technology infrastructure.
• The Network Administrator & Network Security Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing Bpay’s network systems. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure, setting up VPNs and firewalls, monitoring network performance, and responding to security threats.

Requirements:

• Configure, maintain, and monitor internal and external networks.
• Set up and manage secure VPN connections for remote access and inter-branch communications.
• Implement, configure, and maintain firewall solutions to safeguard network traffic.
• Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure network integrity.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and security across all systems.
• Respond to and mitigate security breaches and incidents in a timely manner.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to proactively protect the organization’s infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, etc.).
• Proficiency with firewall systems (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco ASA, pfSense).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH, Fortinet NSE) are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
