Emel Hospital, Festac Town, Lagos, Nigeria is a multi-specialists’ hospital, situated at 21 Road, Z Close in Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Lagos, Nigeria. Emel Hospital is a purpose-built 44 bed hospital situated on a piece of land specially approved for its purpose by the Federal Housing Authority. Emel Hospital was established in 1988 by Dr. Olufemi Mobolaji-Lawal, a consultant paediatrician.

Job Description:

• This is a full-time on-site Medical Officer role located in Festac Town.
• The Medical Officer will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing high-quality patient care, performing medical examinations, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
• They will also offer training and guidance to junior medical staff and assist in surgeries whenever needed to ensure the best clinical outcomes for patients.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and a valid practice license
• Expertise in Medicine and Patient Care
• Experience in Surgery and working collaboratively with Physicians
• Skill in providing support and Training to healthcare personnel
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in medical care
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
