Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious, visionary, and hands-on Managing Director to spearhead the transformation of an early-stage fintech concept into a fully licensed, high-growth digital investment platform. As our founding operating executive, you will bridge the gap between complex regulatory requirements and agile product development. You will own the company's trajectory, leading everything from securing SEC Nigeria licenses to building the engineering roadmap and managing investor relations. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned financial services leader to build a transformative capital markets business from near-zero.

Requirements:

• Regulatory & Licensing Architect: Lead the strategic application for the SEC Nigeria sub-broker (digital) license. Establish the foundation for AML/CFT, KYC, and NDPC compliance, and build the corporate governance structures required for long-term institutional stability.

• Operational & Financial Stewardship: Manage the company’s "runway," burn rate, and financial controls. Translate complex unit economics (CAC, LTV, margins) into actionable business strategies and maintain a strict operating cadence.

• Product & Technical Vision: Own the product roadmap. Make high-stakes "build-vs-buy" infrastructure decisions regarding payment rails, market-data integration, and platform security.

• Executive Leadership: Hire and mentor an elite, high-performing team. Foster a culture of accountability and innovation while managing stakeholder relationships, including sponsoring broker/dealers and strategic partners.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead business development, partnership acquisition, and customer growth strategies to ensure we hit revenue targets and market milestones.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in banking, finance, capital markets, or fintech.
