Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Logistics Supervisor to anchor the distribution engine of our tyre and automotive products business. In a specialized industrial landscapenwhere institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the transit and the precision of the inventory count success is defined by "Logistical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize inbound and outbound flows with the clinical precision required for Warehouse Operations, Dealer Distribution, and Inventory Control. This role is designed for a "Supply Chain Architect" with an HND/BSc. and 3–4 years of experience who can blend "Lagos Field Grit" (managing delivery fleets and urban congestion) with the "Strategic Agility" required to optimize warehouse space and lead-time efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Warehouse Governance
Inbound Sovereignty: Oversee the receipt and quality inspection of tyre and automotive shipments with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Inventory Integrity."
Storage Architecture: Optimize warehouse layouts and stock positioning for fast-moving items, providing the "Structural Foundation" for high-speed retrieval.
Integrity Stewardship: Ensure 100% adherence to safety and security protocols within the facility, ensuring the "Source of Asset Protection" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Distribution Logic
Outbound Sovereignty: Coordinate timely deliveries to customers, dealers, and retail partners, acting as the primary "Source of Fulfillment Reliability."
Fleet Architecture: Manage delivery operations and route planning within the Lagos metropolis, providing the "Functional Foundation" for de-risking transit bottlenecks.
Control Stewardship: Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile against ERP data, maintaining the "Source of Operational Accuracy."
3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power
System Sovereignty: Utilize ERP or inventory management systems to track stock health and movements, acting as the primary "Source of Digital Fidelity."
Leadership Architecture: Lead and coach the warehouse and delivery teams to hit productivity targets, providing the "Relational Foundation" for team excellence.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 3–4 years of Supply Chain expertise to accelerate turnaround times for inbound and outbound orders, maximizing the "Source of Logistical Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: HND/BSc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3 – 4 years in logistics or supply chain operations (Tyre/Automotive/Lagos Warehouse experience preferred).
Technical Power: Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software is a major advantage.
Domain Mastery: Proven ability to navigate the complexities of managing delivery operations in Lagos.
