Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and operationally elite Freight & Forwarding Operations Manager to anchor the logistics engine of our Apapa-based operations. In the specialized landscape of Nigerian maritime and air freight, success is defined by "Logistics Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize global shipment initiation with the clinical precision required for Import/Export Documentation, Customs Compliance, and Terminal Coordination. This role is designed for a "Fidelity Architect" who can blend "Operational Grit" (managing daily shipping flows and resolving port delays) with the "Strategic Agility" required to lead an operations team toward efficiency and cost-reduction targets.

Requirements:

1. Operations Orchestration & Regulatory Governance

• Shipment Sovereignty: Oversee end-to-end freight operations from initiation to final delivery with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Logistics Execution."

• Compliance Architecture: Manage all import/export documentation and ensure total adherence to government regulations, providing the "Structural Foundation" for risk-free clearing.

• Authority Stewardship: Coordinate effectively with shipping lines, agents, and government authorities, ensuring the "Source of Inter-Agency Alignment" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Efficiency Logic

• Timeline Sovereignty: Monitor shipment statuses rigorously and resolve operational delays or issues, acting as the primary "Source of Lead-Time Optimization."
