Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and commercially elite Loan Sales Officer to anchor the growth engine of our Lagos-based banking operations. In the specialized landscape of Nigerian retail and business lending, success is defined by "Capital Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize aggressive market expansion with the clinical precision required for Credit Assessment, Documentation Fidelity, and Repayment Management. This role is designed for a "Liquidity Architect" who can blend "Field Grit" (identifying and acquiring new individual and business clients) with the "Analytical Agility" required to conduct basic credit analysis and ensure policy compliance.

Requirements:

1. Acquisition Orchestration & Sales Governance

  • Market Sovereignty: Identify and acquire new loan customers through aggressive field marketing and referrals, acting as the primary "Source of Portfolio Expansion."

  • Promotion Architecture: Effectively sell the bank’s loan products to diverse individuals and SMEs, providing the "Structural Foundation" for sustainable interest income.

  • Target Stewardship: Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Growth" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Credit Logic

  • Assessment Sovereignty: Conduct initial credit assessments and ensure impeccable documentation of all applications, acting as the primary "Source of Risk Mitigation."

  • Relationship Architecture: Build and maintain strong rapport with clients to encourage repeat business, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for long-term customer lifetime value.

  • Compliance Stewardship: Adhere strictly to the bank’s credit policies and procedures, maintaining the "Source of Regulatory Integrity."

3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power

  • Lifecycle Sovereignty: Follow up on loan disbursements and monitor repayment schedules, acting as the primary "Source of Asset Quality."

  • Record Architecture: Maintain accurate and audit-ready records of all client interactions and transactions, providing the "Visual Foundation" for performance tracking.

  • Velocity Logic: Utilize local market knowledge to navigate the competitive Lagos landscape independently, maximizing the "Source of Commercial Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline.

  • Experience: Proven experience in Sales (Banking or Microfinance sector highly preferred).

  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and basic Credit Analysis capabilities.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Lagos business environment and local demographics.
