Job Description:
- This role sits at the intersection of training delivery and program execution. The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for facilitating engaging learning experiences while also ensuring that all L&D initiatives are well-planned, structured, and seamlessly executed.
- You will act as both a facilitator and a program coordinator—delivering impactful training sessions while managing the logistics, stakeholders, and tracking mechanisms that ensure learning programs achieve their intended outcomes. This role is critical in translating L&D strategy into practical, high-quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Training Facilitation:
- Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs
- Facilitate capability-building sessions across various functional and behavioral competencies
- Adapt facilitation style to suit different audiences (entry-level to management)
- Create a safe and participatory learning environment that drives engagement and retention
- Assess participant understanding through discussions, exercises, and feedback
Program Coordination & Management:
- Plan and coordinate end-to-end learning programs and training schedules
- Manage training logistics including calendars, venues (physical/virtual), materials, and attendance tracking
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align learning needs with business priorities
- Track program progress, completion rates, and learning milestones
- Prepare and share reports on training effectiveness, participation, and outcomes
- Ensure smooth execution of multiple L&D initiatives simultaneously
Content & Curriculum Support:
- Customise existing training materials to fit organisational context and audience needs
- Support the development of learning content, facilitator guides, and participant materials
- Maintain and update training resources, toolkits, and knowledge repositories
- Ensure consistency and quality across all learning materials
Learning Operations & Systems:
- Support the administration and utilisation of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms
- Manage training records, certifications, and learning data
- Collect and analyse feedback using surveys and evaluation tools (e.g., post-training assessments)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of learning programs based on insights and data
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or HR-related roles
- Proven experience in facilitating training sessions, workshops, or onboarding programs
- Experience coordinating projects or programs, preferably within L&D or HR environments.
