Job Description:

We are seeking a precise and technically proficient Land Surveyor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our construction projects in Abuja. You will be the primary technical lead for site geometry, responsible for translating engineering designs into physical reality on the ground. This is a high-responsibility role for an experienced professional who understands that the success of every structure begins with accurate measurement and layout.

Requirements:

• Site Surveying: Perform comprehensive topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys essential for project planning and execution.

• Layout & Set-Out: Establish precise reference points, grids, and benchmarks based on architectural and engineering drawings.

• Equipment Mastery: Operate and maintain high-precision surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS units, and Auto Levels.

• Construction Alignment: Verify vertical and horizontal alignments throughout the construction lifecycle—from excavation and foundations to structural works.

• Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure the construction remains perfectly aligned with design specifications.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed survey reports, data sheets, and CAD drawings, ensuring that all records are updated and maintained in the project database.

• Compliance: Ensure all surveying practices strictly adhere to safety and quality engineering standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. or HND in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a related field. (Higher degrees—M.Sc./MBA—are welcome).

• Experience: 6–9 years of proven experience in construction surveying (building or civil works).

• Technical Mastery:

  • Expert proficiency with Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and specialized survey software.

  • Advanced ability to read and interpret complex construction blueprints and engineering drawings.
