Job Description:

Are you a current Corps Member looking for a high-impact internship to kickstart your career in finance? We are seeking a diligent and eager-to-learn Account Intern to join our team in Ikeja. While this role is remote, you will gain hands-on experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and data management. This is the perfect environment for a detail-oriented individual to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical business application.

Requirements:

• Financial Support: Assist the finance team in maintaining accurate records of daily transactions.

• Data Management: Utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare reports, update ledgers, and manage financial data with high precision.

• Accounting Operations: Learn the fundamentals of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general bookkeeping.

• Documentation: Ensure all financial documents and receipts are organized, filed, and audit-ready.

• Continuous Learning: Participate in team meetings, support month-end closing activities, and contribute to process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Status: Must be currently serving (NYSC) or have recently completed the orientation camp.

• Technical Skills: * Solid foundation in basic accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to use formulas and create basic tables).
