Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Officer to ensure our technology ecosystem remains stable, secure, and high-performing. You will be the primary technical point of contact for our staff, responsible for the end-to-end management of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This is a "hands-on" role that requires deep troubleshooting expertise, the ability to manage multiple high-priority cases simultaneously, and a commitment to keeping our systems running at maximum efficiency.

Requirements:

• System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

• Hardware & Software Lifecycle: Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems (Windows), applications, and hardware components (cables, motherboards, etc.).

• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support via face-to-face interactions, phone, and remote desktop software. You will handle everything from account creation and password resets to complex fault diagnostics.

• Problem-Solving: Rapidly diagnose and resolve system/network faults. You are expected to follow technical diagrams and documentation, working tasks through to completion or escalating appropriately to third-party providers.

• Roll-outs & Training: Support the deployment of new software and train users to ensure seamless adoption.

• Compliance & Safety: Perform regular electrical safety checks on equipment and test new technologies to evaluate their suitability for our environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc./BA/HND in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 4–7 years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration.
