Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Specialist to join our team in Ikeja. In this role, you will be the backbone of our digital infrastructure, ensuring that our technical operations run seamlessly. You will manage everything from end-user support and network maintenance to information security and IT asset lifecycle management. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional who is comfortable troubleshooting both hardware and software issues and can effectively manage our business applications and vendor relationships.

Requirements:

  • Desktop & End-User Support: Maintain all office hardware (desktops, printers, projectors) and manage software configurations for optimal performance. Coordinate smooth IT onboarding and offboarding for all staff.

  • Network & Infrastructure: Oversee LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall performance. Troubleshoot connectivity, manage IP allocations, and maintain critical low-voltage systems like CCTV and access control.

  • System & Account Administration: Manage user access and permissions across our ERP, CRM, and communication platforms. Coordinate with external vendors for complex system resolutions.

  • Information Security: Implement endpoint security, manage antivirus patches, and enforce data backup policies to protect against cyber threats like ransomware and data leakage.

  • Asset Management: Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy through regular audits.

  • Procurement & Vendor Relations: Handle hardware/software procurement, compare quotations, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are upheld.

  • Documentation: Build and maintain our internal IT knowledge base, update operating procedures, and conduct IT orientation for new employees.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, administration, or infrastructure operations.
