Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Personnel to manage the company’s daily technical operations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all technology-related issues, ensuring that our hardware, software, and network infrastructure function seamlessly. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency by providing rapid troubleshooting and ensuring that our staff has the digital tools they need to succeed.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can navigate both hardware repairs and software configurations with ease and professionalism.
Requirements:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
First-Line Support: Provide basic technical assistance to staff regarding computers, printers, software applications, and internet-related issues.
Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Deployment: Install and configure new computer systems, peripheral devices, and business applications across the organization.
Network & Systems Administration
Connectivity Management: Monitor and maintain office internet and network connectivity to ensure zero downtime.
Account Management: Assist in the setup and management of company emails, internal systems, and user accounts.
Virtual Support: Facilitate the setup of office technology for virtual meetings and internal presentations.
Asset Maintenance & Security
Equipment Care: Perform regular maintenance on company laptops, desktops, and other IT hardware to extend asset lifecycles.
Data Protection: Execute daily data backups and ensure adherence to basic cybersecurity best practices.
Response Time: Respond to all IT-related tickets and emergency requests with a high sense of urgency and accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: OND, HND, or B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role is a significant advantage.
Technical & Professional Skills
Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and general IT support tools.
Hardware: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot common hardware issues (PCs, printers, routers).
Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
