Job Description:
Jamub Group is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and digital operations. This is a technically demanding, dual-focus role: we need an expert who is equally comfortable managing server hardware, structured cabling, and physical security as they are administering enterprise software, databases, and security environments. You will lead our IT team, drive digital transformation, and ensure that all technology assets are robust, secure, and fully aligned with the Group’s operational goals.
Requirements:
Enterprise Software Administration: Manage and optimize enterprise systems, including ERP platforms, Microsoft 365, and business productivity tools. Oversee the full software lifecycle—from procurement and licensing to deployment, patching, and maintenance.
Server & Data Center Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers. Ensure the high availability of our data center infrastructure, power systems, and backup environments.
Network & Infrastructure: Design and maintain a stable network architecture (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) including routers, switches, and access points. Manage physical IT infrastructure, including structured cabling and security systems (CCTV, server room access, and biometrics).
Database & Data Management: Administer organizational databases, ensuring proper configuration, performance tuning, data integrity, and robust backup/recovery protocols.
End-User Device Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of workstations, laptops, printers, IP phones, and other end-user hardware.
Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic leadership to the IT team. Plan and execute complex IT projects (software rollouts, hardware refreshes, network upgrades) on time and within budget. Drive the company’s digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of a B.Sc / B.Tech / HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. A postgraduate degree (M.Sc or MBA in IT Management) is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of broad IT experience in a professional environment.
Technical Versatility: Proven expert-level proficiency in both software administration and hardware infrastructure. You are just as comfortable at the command line or configuring a switch as you are managing cloud environments and ERP systems.
Analytical Mindset: A strong diagnostic approach to troubleshooting software bugs, network outages, and hardware faults with minimal downtime.
Leadership: Excellent team management skills with a track record of mentoring staff and holding teams accountable.
Communication & Commercial Awareness: Ability to present investment proposals to executive leadership, produce clear technical documentation, and proactively identify technology risks before they impact business outcomes.
