Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite IT Support Officer to anchor the digital engine of our Abuja operations. In the modern corporate landscape, success is defined by "Digital Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex hardware and software ecosystems with the clinical precision required for Network Troubleshooting, System Configuration, and Incident Management. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect" with 2+ years of experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (resolving connectivity and hardware issues) with the "Strategic Agility" required to collaborate with IT teams and recommend security enhancements.
Requirements:
1. Infrastructure Orchestration & Technical Governance
System Sovereignty: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral hardware with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Hardware Reliability."
Configuration Architecture: Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance checks, providing the "Structural Foundation" for data integrity and system longevity.
Vendor Stewardship: Liaise with external service providers and vendors when necessary, ensuring the "Source of Specialized Support" is elite and efficient.
2. Tactical Resilience & Troubleshooting Logic
Incident Sovereignty: Respond to IT requests and incidents in a timely, professional manner, acting as the primary "Source of Rapid Issue Resolution."
Network Architecture: Monitor and resolve issues related to network connectivity, email, and internet access, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for seamless digital communication.
Resolution Stewardship: Document and maintain accurate records of all support activities, maintaining the "Source of Institutional Technical Knowledge."
3. Evolution Integrity & Strategic Power
Improvement Sovereignty: Recommend system upgrades to enhance efficiency and security, acting as the primary "Source of Technological Advancement."
Integration Architecture: Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of services, providing the "Visual Foundation" for a unified IT ecosystem.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2+ years of support expertise and certifications like CompTIA A+ or ITIL to prioritize tasks, maximizing the "Source of Operational Uptime."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years in IT support or a related technical field.
Location Scope: Must reside in Abuja, with a high preference for candidates in or near Utako for rapid response capability.
Core Competencies
Technical Grit: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and remote troubleshooting tools.
Operational Sovereignty: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize high-stakes tasks efficiently.
