Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and highly technical ICT Engineer to join our team in Lekki. This role sits at the intersection of sophisticated telecommunications engineering and proactive IT support. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and integration of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, while also serving as the technical anchor for internal IT operations.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid professional who can transition seamlessly from complex BIM modeling and network schematic design to resolving high-priority IT support requests for our workforce.

Requirements:

Advanced Network Engineering & SDN

• SDN Integration: Lead the integration and E2E testing of Software-Defined Networking products at the network level.

• Service Delivery: Execute systems integration and verification tasks across diverse mobile technologies, including GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, IMS, LTE, VoLTE, and cloud environments.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive technical optimizations for SDN products and internal processes to ensure peak network performance.

• Customer Engagement: Provide high-level technical support for SDN-related customer engagement and pilot activities.

ELV & ICT Infrastructure Design

• Standards-Based Design: Develop ICT and telecom system designs adhering to global standards such as TIA/EIA, BS, and BICSI.

• ELV Systems: Manage the end-to-end design for ELV systems, specifically IP CCTV, Access Control, and Public Address/Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems.

• Technical Documentation: Draft detailed specifications, schedules, and sizing calculations; develop comprehensive network schematics and detailing.

• BIM Coordination: Lead BIM modeling coordination and utilize Navisworks for rigorous design reviews and clash detection.

Internal IT Support & Operations

• Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve IT support requests, answer system-related queries, and analyze data to diagnose complex hardware or software issues.

• System Administration: Manage configurations, settings, and permissions; oversee the onboarding process by generating credentials for new hires.

• Project Coordination: Identify project scopes and ensure seamless coordination between technical design and field delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in ICT engineering, specifically with SDN products and mobile network technologies (LTE/VoLTE).

  • Hands-on experience in ELV system design (CCTV, Access Control).

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in BIM software and Navisworks for design review.

  • Deep knowledge of TIA/EIA, BICSI, or BS standards.

  • Strong background in IT support and systems administration.
