Job Description:
FMR Agency is recruiting a proactive, structured, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our human resource operations and core administrative processes. In this role, you will act as a key operational anchor, assisting with recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle documentation, rigorous record management, and day-to-day workplace administrative tasks.
This position is ideal for an early-to-mid-career HR professional who is passionate about building a long-term corporate career in Human Resources and wants to gain hands-on experience within a highly structured, professional work environment.
Requirements:
Recruitment Coordination & Onboarding
Talent Pipeline Support: Assist with full-cycle recruitment processes, including posting vacancies, screening incoming CVs, and maintaining the candidate database.
Interview Logistics: Schedule interview panels, coordinate room or virtual link logistics, and manage professional, timely communication with candidates.
Onboarding Execution: Facilitate the employee onboarding journey, ensuring new hires complete requisite documentation, receive orientation materials, and integrate smoothly into their teams.
Data Management & Record Keeping
Database Maintenance: Accurately update and maintain employee records, physical personnel files, and digital HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Confidentiality & Compliance: Safeguard sensitive organizational and employee data, ensuring strict compliance with data privacy standards and internal confidentiality protocols.
Filing Systems: Manage an organized, easily auditable filing system for contracts, performance reviews, leave requests, and statutory documents.
HR Operations & Admin Support
Internal Communications: Assist in drafting and distributing internal memos, policy updates, and employee engagement announcements.
Daily Support: Provide routine administrative assistance to the HR Manager, helping to resolve minor employee inquiries and operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: Minimum of an HND or BSc Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related social science discipline.
Track Record: At least 2 years of verifiable experience working within a full-cycle Human Resources or corporate administrative role.
Location Requirement
Residency: Must be strictly resident within Abuja (FCT) with a commutable proximity to central corporate hubs.

Professionalism: High emotional intelligence, mature deportment, and an absolute commitment to maintaining strict workplace confidentiality.
Organization: Elite time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative timelines simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with job applicants, internal staff, and external partners.
Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking software (ATS).
