Job Description:
- Our client is seeking an experiencedHR Manager to join its HRteam.
- The successful candidate will be an HR generalist with strong expertise in payroll, compensation and benefits, and will support the effective delivery of the organisation’s overall HR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and timely payment.
- Manage compensation and benefits, including salary reviews, allowances, deductions, pensions, HMO and other employee benefits.
- Ensure timely remmitance of all statutory contributions including pensions, NSITF, ITF and PAYE
- Develop and maintain accurate HR and payroll records and reports.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and employee engagement.
- Manage HR policies, procedures and ensure consistent application across the organisation.
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on employment-related matters.
- Support workforce planning, contracts, employee documentation and HR reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and employee experience.
- Support the annual performance management process
- Manage the employee lifcycle from from onboarding through separation.
- maintain proper employee documentation icluding contracts, personnel files and records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant HR experience, preferably with significant generalist HR experience.
- Professional HR certification (e.g. CIPM, SHRM, CIPD or equivalent) is required.
- Strong practical experience in payroll, compensation and benefits administration.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian employment, tax and pension regulations.
- Experience using HRIS/payroll systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Salary
