Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and operationally elite HR Generalist to anchor the people engine of our Lagos-based operations. In the specialized landscape of the EPC sector, success is defined by "Human Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex technical staffing needs with the clinical precision required for Payroll Administration, Policy Compliance, and Employee Relations. This role is designed for a "Success Architect" who can blend "Relational Grit" (mediating conflicts and managing grievances) with the "Strategic Agility" required to forecast workforce needs for large-scale engineering projects.
Requirements:
1. Talent Orchestration & Acquisition Governance
Recruitment Sovereignty: Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering and construction roles with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Technical Talent."
Onboarding Architecture: Conduct new employee orientations and process hire documentation, providing the "Structural Foundation" for rapid integration.
Integrity Stewardship: Develop and update HR policies aligned with current labor laws, ensuring the "Source of Statutory Compliance" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Engagement Logic
Relations Sovereignty: Handle inquiries, grievances, and conflict mediation, acting as the primary "Source of Workplace Harmony."
Performance Architecture: Support the annual review process and assist managers in goal-setting, providing the "Functional Foundation" for productivity growth.
Wellness Stewardship: Coordinate with the Safety department to promote workplace wellness and safety compliance, maintaining the "Source of Operational Security."
3. Operational Integrity & Fiscal Power
Compensation Sovereignty: Administer benefits programs and process payroll changes, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Reliability" for the workforce.
HRIS Architecture: Maintain accurate personnel records and generate HR analytics, providing the "Data Foundation" for executive decision-making.
Velocity Logic: Collaborate with project managers to fulfill contingent staffing needs in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Project Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in HR Generalist functions, preferably within Engineering or Construction.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or a related field.
Skills: Proficiency in HRIS software, Microsoft Office, and payroll processing systems.
