We provide semi-last mile services to improve nearly every aspect of your mechanical and electrical installations. We Design, Procure, install and maintain Heating,Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, water treatment, Firefighting and water supply systems as well as power supply, electrical network and communication systems to meet industrial, commercial or residential requirements. We also provide quality general plumbing services.

Job Description:

We are seeking a technically rigorous and vigilant HSE Officer to anchor our safety operations in Abuja. In the high-risk construction sector, success is defined by "Zero-Incident Fidelity", the ability to anticipate hazards before they materialize and foster a culture where safety is inseparable from productivity. This role is designed for a "Safety Strategist" with 3–5 years of post-NYSC experience who can blend "Deep Engineering Knowledge" with the "Regulatory Grit" required to enforce international and local safety standards.

Your mission is to ensure "Total Site Safety and Environmental Compliance." You will be the primary steward of our risk management framework: responsible for investigating incidents, authoring internal safety strategies, and leading multidisciplinary training sessions. If you possess "Analytical Precision," a minimum Level 3 HSE Certification, and a background in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, we want you to drive our operational integrity.

Requirements:

1. Hazard Architecture & Risk Mitigation

  • Site Vulnerability Mapping: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and frequent site inspections to identify potential hazards before they impact personnel or property.

  • Risk Reduction Strategy: Determine and implement advanced methodologies for reducing onsite risks, ensuring that all equipment installations meet strict safety specifications.

  • Safe Operational Practices: Draw up and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for high-risk activities, making necessary adjustments as site conditions evolve.

2. Incident Governance & Technical Reporting

  • Forensic Investigation: Lead the investigation and recording of all site incidents, accidents, complaints, and cases of ill health, ensuring root-cause analysis is performed for every event.

  • Technical Communication: Write internal health and safety reports, bulletins, and newsletters to maintain high levels of safety awareness across all departments.

  • Knowledge Leadership: Organize and facilitate health and safety meetings and training courses, empowering employees with the skills to identify and manage risks independently.

3. Compliance & Policy Engineering

  • Policy Architecture: Draft and maintain internal health and safety policies and strategies that align with both corporate goals and global best practices.

  • Legislative Stewardship: Stay updated on current health and safety legislation in Nigeria, ensuring the organization remains in full compliance with federal and FCT-specific regulations.

  • Audit Readiness: Maintain high-fidelity records of all safety activities, inspections, and certifications to ensure the site is always prepared for regulatory audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil) or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of post-NYSC experience specifically as an HSE Officer within a construction environment.

  • Certification: Minimum of HSE Level 3 Certificate is mandatory.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Grit: Exceptional ability to analyze complex site layouts and identify subtle safety risks.

  • Communication Mastery: Strong reporting and presentation skills for delivering training and executive updates.

  • Ethical Integrity: Unwavering commitment to enforcing safety policies, even under tight project deadlines.
