We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant to join our hospitality team in Ibadan. You will be the face of our commitment to guest comfort, ensuring that every room is clean, welcoming, and perfectly prepared for our guests. Requirements:
Room Cleaning & Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and ensuring bathrooms are pristine and well-stocked.
Service Excellence: Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests. Welcome guests with courtesy, assist guests with disabilities, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Equipment & Asset Management: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (shampooers, polishers, trolleys) safely and efficiently. Regularly check room appliances and report any faults or maintenance concerns immediately.
Safety & Security: Act as a vigilant steward of the property by reporting misplaced items, safety hazards, or security issues immediately. Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and ensure flammable materials are stored safely.
Efficiency & Collaboration: Load cleaning carts with necessary supplies, work efficiently to meet room readiness deadlines, and support team members to achieve our shared quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: National Diploma (ND) in a related field or a Senior School Certificate (SSCE).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in housekeeping or hospitality services.
Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of housekeeping operations and professional cleaning procedures. Proficiency in the safe operation of cleaning tools and equipment.
Behavioral Competencies: * Highly disciplined, energetic, and physically fit.
A person of integrity with a goal-driven mindset.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
Soft Skills: Strong time management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective interpersonal communication (written and verbal).
