Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Field Support Engineer to serve as the technical face of our brand in the Festac, Ojo, and Alaba axis. You will be responsible for the full customer post-sales lifecycle from initial site surveys and hardware installation to network integration and ongoing troubleshooting. If you are a customer-focused professional with a deep understanding of network infrastructure and a passion for resolving technical challenges on the front lines, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
Incident Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person site visits.
Site Survey & Installation: Conduct detailed site surveys, perform professional installations, and ensure seamless network integration at customer premises.
Network Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve signal-related issues (signal strength, SNR, etc.) to ensure performance meets our approved technical standards.
Proactive Security: Monitor and advise on bandwidth consumption, potential virus infections, and security threats to protect customer environments.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all incidents, service requests, and resolutions. Prepare and submit daily activity reports to management.
OLA Adherence: Ensure all installations, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting resolutions are completed strictly within agreed-upon Operating Level Agreements (OLA).
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: HND or B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Communications, or Information Technology.
Technical Mastery:
Networking: Proficiency in WiFi, WiMAX, LTE, TCP/IP, WLAN, Ethernet, LAN, and WAN.
Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose issues at both the device and network levels.
Systems: Proficient in OS and application-level support.
