Job Description:

We are seeking a technically proficient and commercially astute Factory Manager to lead our water production operations in Benin City. In the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, success is defined by "Regulatory and Technical Synergy", the ability to harmonize high-volume sachet and bottled water production with the rigorous standards of NAFDAC. This role is designed for a "Production Architect" with 3–5 years of managerial experience who can blend "Advanced Water Treatment Knowledge" with the "Operational Grit" required to optimize supply chains and minimize industrial downtime.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Defect Production and Peak Asset Availability." You will be the primary steward of the factory ecosystem: responsible for end-to-end production flow, maintenance of sophisticated purification systems, and the leadership of a multi-disciplinary workforce. If you possess "Quality Assurance Mastery," a background in Engineering or Food Science, and a deep understanding of compliance protocols, we want you to drive our operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. Production Architecture & Resource Optimization

• End-to-End Flow Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of sachet and bottled water production, ensuring seamless transitions from raw material intake to final distribution.

• Supply Chain Stewardship: Monitor and control inventory levels and raw material procurement to drive cost optimization while maintaining 100% material availability.

• Waste Mitigation: Implement continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and significantly reduce production waste.

2. Technical Asset & Treatment Governance

• Purification Integrity: Utilize in-depth knowledge of water treatment processes and purification systems to ensure the highest standard of product safety.

• Maintenance Engineering: Manage the preventive and corrective maintenance of factory machinery and water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and near-zero downtime.

• Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the health of all factory assets, ensuring technical reporting and documentation are up to date.

3. Regulatory Sovereignty & Workforce Leadership

• NAFDAC Compliance: Ensure full and unwavering adherence to NAFDAC regulations, environmental safety standards, and federal health guidelines.

• Quality Control Leadership: Design and enforce high-fidelity quality control and assurance measures across all production lines.

• Workforce Mentorship: Supervise, train, and motivate the factory team, managing scheduling and performance metrics to sustain a quality-first culture.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven managerial experience specifically within the water, beverage, or food production industry.

• Domain Knowledge: Expert understanding of water treatment technologies and regulatory safety protocols.
