Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, technically-minded Facility Manager to lead the lifecycle management of our operational assets. You will be the primary steward of our company’s infrastructure, ensuring that our facilities, utilities, and support assets function at peak efficiency to drive business continuity.
Requirements:
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the end-to-end maintenance of electrical systems, power generation (generators), HVAC/air conditioning units, plumbing, and building infrastructure across all company locations.
Operational Planning: Develop and execute both preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external service providers, ensuring all work delivered meets our quality and safety standards.
Cost Control & Reporting: Monitor utility consumption (fuel, power, water) and maintenance expenditures; prepare actionable facility reports, budgets, and long-term maintenance plans.
Fleet & Asset Oversight: Ensure the upkeep of company vehicles and office equipment, coordinating repairs and tracking usage.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all facilities strictly adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and statutory regulatory requirements.
Emergency Response: Serve as the first responder for all facility-related emergencies and critical operational issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Technology, Facility Management, or a related technical field.
Experience: A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in facility management, technical maintenance, or operations management.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in managing industrial generators, complex electrical grids, HVAC systems, and general building services.
Industry Advantage: Experience managing facilities within corporate, industrial, warehouse, logistics, or Oil & Gas environments is highly preferred.
Professional Certification: Possession of relevant certifications in Facility Management, Engineering, or HSE will be a significant added advantage.
