Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Auditor to join our team in Owaza. You will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational integrity, and process compliance. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in auditing, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment, who is committed to maintaining high standards of internal control.

Requirements:

  • Financial Auditing: Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, statements, and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Operational Review: Examine factory and production workflows to identify inefficiencies, wastage, or control gaps.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all company operations adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial and operational risks and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate them.

  • Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and detailed audit reports for management, highlighting areas of concern and suggested improvements.

  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with departmental teams to implement best practices that enhance overall organizational efficiency and asset protection.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in auditing or financial control.

  • Industry Context: Previous experience working in a factory or production environment is highly preferred and will be considered a distinct advantage.

  • Certification: While not mandatory, possession of a professional certification such as ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) is an added advantage.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Uncompromising attention to detail and professional integrity.

    • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office (especially Excel).

    • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
