Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite CAD Draughtsman to anchor the technical engine of our construction chemical and waterproofing division. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the draft and the precision of the section detail success is defined by "Spatial Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize engineering concepts with the clinical precision required for 2D/3D Waterproofing Membrane Systems, Concrete Repair Details, and Material Take-offs. This role is designed for a "Technical Architect" specifically a professional with at least 5 years of AutoCAD expertise who can blend "Drafting Grit" (producing as-built drawings and fabrication specifications for HDPE/PVC systems) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Project-Specific Drawing Packages and BIM Integration.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Documentation Governance

• Sovereignty of the Detail: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for membrane systems and concrete repair with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Installation Clarity."

• Specification Architecture: Develop section drawings and technical specifications for HDPE, PVC, and TPO systems, providing the "Structural Foundation" for project compliance.

• Integrity Stewardship: Maintain comprehensive drawing registers and version control systems, ensuring the "Source of Design History" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Project Logic

• Collaboration Sovereignty: Partner with technical sales and design consultants to develop submission packages, acting as the primary "Source of Client Approval."

• Manufacturing Architecture: Create product fabrication drawings and accurate material take-offs, providing the "Functional Foundation" for production efficiency.

• Compliance Stewardship: Verify all drawings against Nigerian building codes and international best practices, maintaining the "Source of Engineering Accuracy."

3. Operational Integrity & Continuous Innovation

• Library Sovereignty: Develop and maintain a centralized digital library of typical sections and standard details, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional Knowledge."

• R&D Architecture: Provide technical drawing support for new product development and R&D initiatives, providing the "Relational Foundation" for innovative growth.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of Construction Detailing expertise to accelerate the "Concept-to-Actionable-Drawing" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Project Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of OND/HND in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Building Technology. A Bachelor's degree is an advantage.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman in the construction industry.

• Technical Power: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); experience with Revit or SketchUp is a strong advantage.

• Analytical Power: Strong understanding of construction detailing, building physics, and material properties (TPO, PVC, HDPE).
