Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering department toward the next frontier of SaaS innovation. In this role, you will be the bridge between high-level business strategy and hands-on technical execution. You will mentor top-tier engineering and data science talent, oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), and ensure our products are not just functional, but represent the pinnacle of engineering excellence. Requirements:

Leadership & Mentorship

• Team Growth: Lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams of software engineers, team leads, and data scientists.

• Agile Management: Foster a culture of engineering excellence within an Agile/Scrum framework, ensuring high-quality, iterative delivery.

• Strategic Alignment: Translate corporate vision and business strategy into actionable functional goals for your technical teams.

Technical Strategy & Execution

• SaaS Innovation: Drive the development of best-in-class, scalable SaaS solutions leveraging cloud infrastructure.

• Architectural Oversight: Provide technical guidance, review code, participate in design discussions, and lead the resolution of complex architectural challenges or "blocker" bugs.

• Portfolio Management: Manage a broad portfolio of projects spanning web, mobile, and integration solutions, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI.

• Roadmap Development: Set strategic timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web-based services.

Collaboration & Security

• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with executive leaders to define product vision and set priorities.

• Security Advocacy: Implement effective mitigation strategies against security threats common to SaaS platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Leadership Experience: 4+ years of combined experience in software engineering leadership, specifically architecting and deploying cloud-based SaaS applications.

• People Management: 2–4 years of demonstrated experience in building, motivating, and managing large, high-functioning technical teams.

• Methodology: 4+ years of hands-on experience utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Development Background: 1–3 years of specific experience building consumer-facing web and mobile software solutions.

• Technical Depth: Solid background in building next-generation architectures; ability to engage in deep-dive code reviews and design discussions.

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, coupled with strong business judgment and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

• Bonus: Scrum Master certification is an added plus.
