Job Description:

We are seeking a high-level leader to serve as our ESG, QHSE & Compliance Manager. This is a pivotal strategic role where you will define and oversee our organizational commitment to sustainability, health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will not only be responsible for building our framework but also for enforcing it. With direct stop-work authority and a mandate to influence operational culture, you will ensure that our growth remains safe, sustainable, and fully compliant with both local laws and global donor/investor standards.

Requirements:

• ESG & Sustainability: Lead our sustainability agenda, tracking and reporting on SDG performance indicators. You will be the primary lead for ESG compliance reporting for our donors and investors.

• HSE Leadership: Develop and enforce rigorous health and safety policies. You will conduct site risk assessments, manage incident investigations, and ensure environmental stewardship regarding waste, emissions, and chemical safety.

• Quality & Systems: Oversee our QHSE management systems. You will lead the charge for ISO readiness and certification (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and ensure operational quality control.

• Compliance Oversight: Monitor contractors and internal site teams to ensure adherence to company standards, proactively identifying gaps and implementing preventive measures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience in ESG, HSE, compliance, or environmental management, ideally within the agriculture or construction sectors.

• Technical Mastery:

  • Working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).

  • Proven experience in incident management systems and HSE reporting.

  • Deep understanding of ESG/SDG frameworks.
