Job Description:

We are seeking a highly precise and technically adept Structural & Piping Detailer to bridge the gap between engineering design and physical fabrication. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the "blueprints of execution"—developing high-fidelity fabrication and shop drawings that ensure our production teams can build with absolute accuracy. You will work at the center of the project lifecycle, collaborating with structural engineers and project managers to ensure every weld, joint, and pipe run meets international standards. If you are a detailing expert with a mastery of Tekla or AutoCAD, we want you to drive our manufacturing precision.

Requirements:

1. Fabrication & Shop Drawing Excellence

• Technical Draftsmanship: Prepare comprehensive fabrication and shop drawings for complex steel structures and piping systems.

• Detailing Precision: Develop connection details, material lists (BOMs), and assembly drawings that eliminate ambiguity for the production team.

• Specification Compliance: Conduct rigorous self-audits to ensure all drawings meet project-specific codes, tolerances, and client standards.

2. Integrated Piping & Structural Design

• Systems Integration: Develop detailed 2D and 3D piping layouts, including isometrics and P&IDs, ensuring zero interference with structural members.

• Project Synergy: Work as a strategic partner to the production and project teams, providing real-time technical clarifications during the fabrication phase.

• Revision Control: Manage drawing revisions with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the shop floor is always working from the latest approved version.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical & Professional Profile

• Education: HND or B.Sc in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in fabrication detailing.

• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Tekla Structures (highly preferred), AutoCAD, or similar 3D detailing software.

• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of fabrication processes, welding symbols, and material properties.

Core Competencies

• Spatial Reasoning: Ability to visualize and model complex 3D structures from 2D designs.

• Analytical Accuracy: An "eagle eye" for detail, ensuring zero-error dimensions and tolerances.

• Collaboration: Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between the design office and the fabrication workshop.
