Job Description:

Fastest Cakes is seeking high-empathy, detail-oriented Customer Service Officers to serve as the primary ambassadors of our brand. In the celebratory world of premium gifting and confectionery, every interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory. This role is designed for a "Communication Specialist", a professional with at least 1 year of experience who can blend warm, professional hospitality with the surgical precision required to manage time-sensitive orders.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Friction Celebrations." You will be responsible for the entire customer lifecycle: from answering complex product inquiries across multiple channels to resolving logistics complaints and ensuring every cake order is processed with 100% accuracy. Requirements:

1. Omnichannel Engagement & Inquiry Management

• Prompt Responsiveness: Serve as the first point of contact, responding to customer inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, social media, and email with professional speed.

• Product Advocacy: Maintain an expert-level knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and customization options to provide accurate recommendations and upsell opportunities.

• Professional Persona: Uphold a positive, empathetic, and courteous attitude at all times, ensuring the brand’s voice is consistent across all digital and verbal touchpoints.

2. Order Governance & Operational Integrity

• Fulfillment Excellence: Take and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring that specific delivery times, messages, and flavor profiles are captured without error.

• Documentation Stewardship: Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback to help the production team improve service quality.

• Crisis Diplomacy: Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints with speed and empathy, turning potentially negative experiences into opportunities for brand loyalty.

3. Commitment & Professional Conduct

• Reliability: Commit to a structured 23-day monthly office schedule, including availability for select weekends and holidays to support peak celebration periods.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

• Statutory Compliance: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

• Experience: At least 1 year of proven work experience in customer support or a high-touch retail environment.

• Location: MANDATORY—Candidate must reside in or very near Lekki Phase 1 to ensure punctual office attendance.
