Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
Cost Estimating & Review: Develop and coordinate detailed cost estimates for company-operated and third-party (OBO) projects; perform quality assurance reviews and prepare internal check estimates for comparison with external submissions.
Schedule Assessment & Validation: Review and validate project schedules, participate in estimate and schedule assessments, and verify cost and schedule assumptions at each project gate or funding milestone.
Process Improvement & QA: Contribute to the enhancement of estimating tools, group workflows, and quality assurance processes to drive consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across projects.
Requirements:
Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage and oversee change control processes, maintain accurate cost tracking, and ensure timely updates to cost reports.
Collaborate with the project estimator, planner, scheduler, and the client’s accounting team to align on financial data and forecasting.
Lead the preparation and compilation of detailed monthly progress reports for project stakeholders.
Partner closely with the client’s project manager and team leads to fulfill all financial reporting requirements for both regulated and non-regulated aspects of the project.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
Proven background in a similar project controls, estimating, or planning role.
Ability to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues across cross-functional internal teams.
Expertise in cost estimating, project scheduling, and project controls at an advanced level.
Strong analytical mindset with skills in mentoring, consulting, and using project management tools.
Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities in a dynamic project environment.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Capable of organizing, coordinating, and managing complex, multi-disciplinary activities effectively.
