Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive CNG Specialist to join our technical team in Lagos. As the automotive industry shifts toward sustainable energy, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered vehicles.

In this role, you will combine traditional automotive expertise with specialized knowledge of CNG systems to ensure our fleet remains safe, efficient, and reliable. Requirements:

CNG System Maintenance & Diagnostics

• Specialized Care: Perform routine and corrective maintenance specifically for CNG vehicle systems, ensuring all components meet safety and performance standards.

• Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex automotive issues, with a focus on fuel delivery and pressure systems unique to CNG.

• Safety Inspections: Conduct rigorous checks on high-pressure cylinders, regulators, and fuel lines to prevent leaks and ensure operational integrity.

General Automotive Service

• Routine Maintenance: Execute standard vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

• Suspension & Chassis: Provide expert service for vehicle suspension systems, ensuring a smooth and safe ride for all maintained units.

• Brakes & Alignment: Perform comprehensive maintenance on braking systems and wheel alignments as part of the overall vehicle health program.

Quality & Documentation

• Detailed Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all repairs and inspections performed.

• Efficiency: Work effectively to minimize vehicle downtime while maintaining a "first-time-fix" mentality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician; specific experience working with CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) conversion or maintenance is highly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with vehicle suspension, engine diagnostics, and routine servicing.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and how they interface with CNG fuel systems.

  • Ability to use modern automotive diagnostic equipment.

  • Knowledge of high-pressure gas safety protocols.
