Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the company’s end-to-end operations, production activities, sourcing strategy, market expansion, and operational growth.
• The ideal candidate must have strong experience in food processing/manufacturing, supply chain and sourcing, operations management, distributor management, and marketing execution within the FMCG or food production sector.
• The COO will play a key role in scaling operations, improving production efficiency, expanding market reach, and strengthening Green Finite’s position in the healthy sweetener market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations across production, logistics, sourcing, sales support, and distribution.
• Supervise food processing and manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality control.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and nationwide product expansion.
• Manage sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate inventory management, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
• Drive distributor, reseller, and retail partnership expansion across Nigeria and international markets.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement systems to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Oversee staff performance, workforce coordination, and departmental efficiency.
• Support product development initiatives and operational scaling strategies.
• Prepare operational reports and strategic recommendations for executive management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational leadership role.
• Strong experience in food processing, FMCG manufacturing, or agro-processing operations.
• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.
• Experience managing operations for packaged food or health-food products is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of production planning, quality assurance, and inventory systems.
• Strong marketing and business growth experience, especially in consumer products.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-focused environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience scaling a food manufacturing or healthy food brand.
• Knowledge of distributor management and retail expansion strategies.
• Understanding of healthy sweetener or wellness product markets.
• Financial and budget management capability.
