Job Description:
We are seeking an efficient, friendly, and detail-oriented Cashier to act as the primary point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will be the face of our store, ensuring that every transaction is processed accurately and that every customer interaction is handled with professionalism and care.

Requirements:
Sales & Transaction Management
POS Operations: Accurately process sales transactions using our Point-of-Sale (POS) software.
Order Verification: Perform rigorous cross-checks between the POS system and the goods being packed to ensure 100% order accuracy for every customer.
Product Knowledge: Scan items efficiently and provide clear, helpful explanations regarding product pricing and queries.
Financial Reporting & Accountability
Payment Reconciliation: Maintain accurate records of all sales, ensuring a clear distinction between cash, cheques, and other approved payment methods.
Daily Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate daily sales reports to the Manager or Accountant on duty to ensure seamless financial closing.
Environment & Customer Care
Checkout Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service by resolving customer queries and managing potential conflicts with patience and problem-solving skills.
Operational Support: Assist with any other administrative or operational duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in basic math and numerical record-keeping.
Strong attention to detail to prevent discrepancies in sales and stock.
Core Competencies:
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers professionally.
Problem Solving: Ability to handle transaction issues, manage conflicts, and find solutions on the spot.
Reliability: A high level of integrity in handling financial transactions and company records.
