Job Description:

• The Cashier handles daily sales transactions, ensures accurate cash management, provides receipts, and delivers excellent customer service.
• The Cashier ensures all cash, card, and electronic payments are correctly processed and balanced at the end of each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and handle transactions efficiently.
• Receive cash, card, or transfer payments and issue receipts.
• Ensure the cash drawer is balanced and accurate.
• Reconcile daily sales, generate sales reports, and submit to accounts.
• Maintain records of all transactions for accountability.
• Report discrepancies or suspicious transactions immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
• Support customer inquiries and resolve simple complaints.
• Follow company cash handling and anti-fraud procedures.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Transaction Accuracy: 100% of cash/credit transactions processed without errors.
• Cash Handling: Cash drawer variance at end of shift (should be zero).
• Processing Speed: 5 minutes of Average transaction time per customer.
• Customer Service: Positive customer feedback on courtesy and efficiency.
• Record Keeping: 100% Accuracy of daily sales summaries and handovers.
• Fraud Prevention: Zero incidents of cash mismanagement or fraud.
• Compliance: 100% Adherence to company cash handling procedures.
• Punctuality: On-time attendance and
• readiness at point-of-sale.

Requirements:

• SSCE, OND, or relevant qualification.
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to hand Point of sales machine
