Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Business Intelligence Officer for a 3–6 month intensive internship in Lagos (Hybrid). In a data-driven enterprise marketing environment, success is defined by "Insight Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize quantitative performance tracking with the clinical precision required for issue resolution, stakeholder diplomacy, and trend analysis. This role is designed for an "Intelligence Architect" (Undergraduate or Recent Graduate) who can blend "Analytical Grit" (reviewing dashboards for anomalies) with the "Operational Agility" required to track complex business process issues to closure across IT, Finance, and Sales teams.

Requirements:

1. Performance Orchestration & BI Governance

• Monitoring Sovereignty: Work synchronously with the BI team to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance, ensuring every product and segment acts as a "Source of Growth."

• Anomaly Reconnaissance: Review dashboards and trackers with clinical precision to identify gaps and underperformance, cataloging observations in a structured, traceable manner.

• Visibility Engineering: Support the preparation of high-fidelity performance updates, highlighting risks and exceptions that require immediate executive escalation.

2. Issue Resolution & Process Logic

• Traceability Sovereignty: Log and track business process issues identified through BI reports and customer feedback, acting as the primary "Source of Follow-through."

• Stakeholder Diplomacy: Actively engage with Product, Sales, IT, and Finance teams to drive the resolution of identified bottlenecks, ensuring every issue reaches a "High-Fidelity" closure.

• Knowledge Stewardship: Maintain organized documentation of segment performance and action logs, ensuring the organization’s "Institutional Memory" remains intact and accessible.

3. Insight Synthesis & Strategic Support

• Intelligence Collation: Translate qualitative feedback from account teams and quantitative data from reports into concise, "Actionable Insight" summaries.

• Support Architecture: Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special projects, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for customer engagements and internal planning sessions.

• Documentation Power: Prepare meeting notes, summaries, and presentations with millimetric accuracy to support internal reviews and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Undergraduate or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or Marketing.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools like Teams.

• Experience: Exposure to BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) or corporate reporting is a significant strategic advantage.
