Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Business Development Manager to anchor our growth engine at Zagus Power System Ltd. In the mission-critical power sector, success is defined by "Energy Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex technical specifications (UPS, Inverters, Lithium-ion storage) with the clinical precision required for large-scale contract negotiations and bespoke tender engineering. This role is designed for a "Market Architect" with an Engineering or Physics background and an MBA who can blend "Entrepreneurial Grit" (prospecting and cold calling) with the "Technical Agility" required to design high-fidelity energy solutions for data centers and telecommunications hubs.

Requirements:

1. Pipeline Orchestration & Lead Governance

  • Prospecting Sovereignty: Develop and execute a high-fidelity strategic business plan that acts as the "Source of Growth," targeting elite sectors like Telecommunications, Healthcare, and Data Centers.

  • Funnel Architecture: Lead the entire "Sales Lifecycle"—from initial targeting and cold calling to clinical deal closure and client handover—ensuring every stage is a "Source of Momentum."

  • Deal Velocity: Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline, utilizing CRM software to track and accelerate targeted entities toward high-value conversions.

2. Technical Synthesis & Solution Logic

  • Solution Architecture: Collaborate synchronously with technical teams to design Bespoke Energy Solutions (UPS, Inverters, Batteries), ensuring our commercial bids and tenders are a "Source of Value."

  • Value Advocacy: Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that translate complex technical concepts—such as Lithium-ion storage and Voltage Stabilization—into compelling business propositions for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Maintain deep, clinical knowledge of the competitive landscape to refine Zagus Power System Ltd.'s value proposition and maintain market dominance.

3. Strategic Diplomacy & Fiscal Grit

  • Negotiation Sovereignty: Effectively manage large-scale, complex contract negotiations, working closely with the Head of Business Development to close high-stakes deals.

  • Executive Intelligence: Prepare and present high-impact monthly business reviews to the senior management team, providing "Data-Driven" insights into revenue and profitability targets.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Attend industry conferences and professional meetings to promote the Zagus footprint, acting as the primary "Source of Influence" in the renewable energy and power sectors.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics, with an MBA, BSc in Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience in technical B2B sales or business development within the Power, UPS, or Renewable Energy sectors.

  • Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of power backup systems, battery storage, solar inverters, and voltage stabilization technology.

Core Competencies

  • Negotiation Grit: Advanced skills in managing complex contracts and high-stakes relationship management.

  • Digital Agility: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce/HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.

  • Mobility: A high-velocity willingness to travel regionally for site visits and face-to-face client meetings.
