Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Branch Manager with deep knowledge of the Kano market to lead our branch operations. You will be responsible for driving business growth through aggressive deposit mobilization, expanding our loan portfolio, and leading a high-performing team. This is a critical leadership role focused on delivering sustainable profitability while maintaining strict regulatory compliance in the Dawakin Kudu area.
Requirements:
Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive deposit mobilization, loan disbursements, and overall branch revenue.
Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and manage a high-performing team; foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Risk & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to CBN regulations and internal credit risk frameworks to maintain a healthy loan portfolio.
Customer Relations: Drive exceptional customer service, manage high-value accounts, and handle escalations for prompt resolution.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily branch activities, including cash management, credit processing, and resource optimization.
Market Intelligence: Leverage your understanding of the local Kano business landscape to identify growth opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience strictly within a Microfinance Bank (MFB), with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Certification: MCIB (Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria) is required.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Kano commercial terrain and local business dynamics.
Skills: Proven track record in credit risk management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
Location: Must reside in Kano State, with preference for candidates based in or around Dawakin Kudu.
