We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Composite Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be the hands-on expert responsible for physically building the advanced UAV structures that define our fleet.

The Role

• From mold preparation to final airframe assembly, you will transform raw materials into high-performance aerospace structures.
• This is a role for a craftsman who takes pride in the details—ensuring every layup is perfect, every bond is secure, and every component meets our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Perform precision layup of carbon fiber and fiberglass using both prepreg and wet layup methods.
• Process Management: Handle resin systems, execute vacuum bagging, and manage curing cycles in ovens or autoclaves.
• Core Integration: Integrate foam or honeycomb cores into structural skins for optimized weight and strength.
• Post-Processing: Manage demolding, trimming, and finishing; perform visual inspections and basic NDT (tap testing).
• Assembly: Bond major structural components, assemble fuselage and wing sections, and install critical hardpoints and inserts.
• Tooling & Rework: Build and modify molds, jigs, and fixtures to support prototype development and production scaling.

Requirements:

• Composite Mastery: Proven experience in mold preparation and complex composite layups.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of resin handling, vacuum bagging techniques, and curing equipment operation.
• Precision Assembly: Strong ability to bond structural components and align complex airframe assemblies.
• Hardware Integration: Skilled in the installation of aerospace inserts and structural fittings.
• Prototyping Mindset: Ability to carry out repairs, rework, and modify tooling to support engineering changes.
