Job Description:

We are seeking sharp, energetic, and highly professional Bank Tellers to join our branch operations across Lagos Island and the Mainland. As the face of the bank, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for executing financial transactions with 100% accuracy while delivering a world-class service experience.

This role is a foundational career step in the banking industry, designed for OND/NCE holders who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Requirements:

1. Cash Management & Transaction Processing

  • In-Branch Transactions: Efficiently process cash deposits, withdrawals, and cheque payments while verifying signatures and transaction details.

  • Currency Handling: Accurately count and sort various denominations, ensuring the detection and reporting of counterfeit currency.

  • Vault Coordination: Assist in the daily balancing of cash drawers and reconcile all transactions against the bank's core system at the close of business.

2. Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Client Engagement: Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers, resolving basic inquiries and directing them to appropriate departments for complex needs.

  • Product Awareness: Maintain a basic understanding of the bank's products and services to provide accurate information to walk-in clients.

  • Efficiency & Speed: Manage queues effectively to ensure minimal wait times without compromising on accuracy or compliance.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Verification Protocols: Strictly adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations during every transaction.

  • Confidentiality: Protect customer data and transaction history with the highest level of discretion.

  • Internal Controls: Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent errors, fraud, and operational leakages.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of NCE or OND in any discipline.

  • Age Limit: Not above 27 years at the time of application.

  • Location: Must be resident in Lagos (Island or Mainland) and have easy access to branch locations.
