Job Description:

• We are seeking an Accounts Clerk responsible for supporting the daily financial and administrative activities of the hospital. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing basic accounting documents, assisting with payments, and ensuring proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Assist with petty cash management and payment processing.
• Ensure proper filing and safe keeping of financial records.
• Verify supporting documents before processing payments.
• Follow up on pending payments and outstanding documents when required.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and basic finance reports.
• Support payroll documentation and record updates.
• Assist during audit exercises and retrieval of financial records.
• Respond to basic finance-related inquiries when necessary.
• Support inventory and asset record updates where required.

Requirements:

• OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with 1–2 years relevant experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting processes and record keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.
