Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Accountant to anchor the financial engine of our data-driven technology operations. In a specialized tech landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the burn rate and the precision of the tax filings success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize remote workflows with the clinical precision required for Statutory Taxation (VAT, PAYE), Project-Based Costing, and Internal Controls. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree (ICAN/ACCA preferred) and 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (managing project-based performance) with the "Strategic Agility" required to provide data-backed insights for operational and investment decisions.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Reporting Governance

• Statement Sovereignty: Maintain accurate records and prepare financial statements with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Truth."

• Reporting Architecture: Prepare monthly and annual reports with project-based cost allocation, providing the "Structural Foundation" for strategic decision-making.

• Integrity Stewardship: Implement internal controls and risk management procedures, ensuring the "Source of Fiscal Safety" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Compliance Logic

• Taxation Sovereignty: Prepare and file statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, CIT) in line with Nigerian standards, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory De-risking."

• Payable/Receivable Architecture: Manage vendor accounts and timely collections, providing the "Functional Foundation" for healthy cash flow and liquidity.

• Liaison Stewardship: Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities, maintaining the "Source of Institutional Credibility."

3. Operational Integrity & Forecasting Power

• Budgeting Sovereignty: Assist management in financial planning and budget adherence, acting as the primary "Source of Resource Discipline."

• Forecast Architecture: Develop financial projections to guide technology investments, providing the "Relational Foundation" for sustainable scaling.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 3–5 years of tech-sector accounting expertise to resolve expense bottlenecks in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Capital Throughput" in a Remote Environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: 3 – 5 years of accounting experience (Tech or high-growth environment preferred).

• Certification: ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is a highly advantageous professional asset.

• Software Power: Mastery of QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho and elite proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
