Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Officer to manage company payments, vendor invoices, and financial records. The ideal candidate must have strong accounting knowledge, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Requirements:

• Invoice Processing: Manage supplier invoices and process payments accurately.

• Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

• Record Keeping: Maintain precise financial records and documentation.

• Reporting: Prepare regular payment schedules and financial reports.

• Compliance: Monitor expenses and ensure all processes comply with company policies.

• Financial Closing: Assist with monthly financial closing activities.

• Communication: Act as a point of contact for vendors and internal departments regarding payments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND or B.Sc. degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.

• Advantage: Possession of a professional certification is highly preferred.
