Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and intellectually elite Accountant to anchor our financial and administrative engine for a 6-month maternity cover. In a lean corporate environment, success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize accurate financial reporting with the clinical precision required for facility management, vendor diplomacy, and executive support. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with 2–4 years of experience who can blend "Accounting Grit" (bank reconciliations and statutory remittances) with the "Operational Agility" required to manage office inventory and maintain a "Source of Truth" for digital and physical filing systems.
Requirements:
1. Financial Orchestration & Accounting Governance
Ledger Sovereignty: Manage petty cash disbursements and bank reconciliations with clinical precision, acting as the primary "Source of Accuracy" for daily financial logs.
Compliance Architecture: Prepare invoices and process statutory remittances (PAYE, Pension, etc.) with high-velocity focus, ensuring the organization remains a "Source of Regulatory Compliance."
Payroll Logic: Assist with monthly payroll processing and track accounts payable/receivable to maintain the "Economic Velocity" of the office.
2. Administrative Resilience & Facility Logic
Operations Sovereignty: Oversee daily office functions and facility maintenance, acting as the centralized "Source of Resolution" for internal inquiries and visitor management.
Procurement Architecture: Manage office supplies and vendor relationships with millimetric focus to prevent stockouts and ensure the "Source of Productivity" is never interrupted.
Calendar Stewardship: Manage executive schedules and coordinate travel logistics with professional poise, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in leadership operations.
3. Operational Diplomacy & Data Power
Filing Sovereignty: Maintain a robust physical and digital filing system, ensuring every document acts as a "Source of Immediate Retrieval" for audits or inquiries.
Vendor Architecture: Liaise with external service providers to ensure standards are met, acting as the primary "Source of Quality Control" for office utilities and repairs.
Policy Stewardship: Support the implementation of internal operational policies, ensuring the workspace remains a "Source of Professionalism" and order.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BSc / HND qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of robust experience in an Administrative or Operations role with direct exposure to bookkeeping.
Technical Mastery: High-velocity proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
