About Company:

Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro Allied & Food Industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry industry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar,custard powder and Chocolate Drink for the Nigerian market.

The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, extraction, refining, packaging and distribution of a wide range of premium products. In response to environmental concerns, we have installed solar panels to partially power the plant onsolar energyalso we have a state of the art effluent treatment plant to treat and reuse the water discharged during the various production processes.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Account Officer to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations at our manufacturing facility.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Record and process financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and journals
• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial procedures
• Support audits and provide required financial documentation
• Work closely with management to support budgeting and cost control activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 2–3 years’ experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Good communication and organizational skills

Residency Requirement:

• Candidates must reside in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby environs.
