We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Account Officer will be responsible for supporting the finance department in daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
• Assist with daily accounting transactions, including postings and reconciliations
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements
• Support audits by providing necessary financial records and explanations
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments on finance-related matters
• Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
