Job Description:

We are seeking high-velocity and intellectually elite Master’s Students and Recent Graduates to anchor the knowledge engine of the African Development Bank for Session 2 of the 2026 Program. In the specialized landscape of continental transformation, success is defined by "Institutional Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize academic rigor with the clinical precision required for Agriculture, Human Capital, Sustainability, and Risk Management. This residency is designed for a "Knowledge Architect" (under 30 years old) who can blend "Practical Grit" (handling SAP and standard software) with the "Mission-Driven Agility" required to contribute to the Bank’s Ten-Year Strategy.

Requirements:

1. Mission Orchestration & Continental Governance

• Development Sovereignty: Contribute to projects with a direct bearing on the mission of the Bank with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Practical Innovation."

• Strategic Architecture: Align specialist professional areas with the Bank’s Ten-Year Strategy (TYS) and Gender Strategy, providing the "Structural Foundation" for sustainable impact.

• Knowledge Stewardship: Manage information across diverse job families, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Research" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Operational Logic

• Operational Sovereignty: Utilize Word, Excel, and SAP to support Bank functions, acting as the primary "Source of Process Efficiency."

• Logistics Architecture: Manage remote or on-site work requirements effectively, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for smooth and uninterrupted delivery.

• Compliance Stewardship: Adhere to all Bank guidelines, communication procedures, and policies, maintaining the "Source of Professional Integrity."

3. Professional Integrity & Performance Power

• Eligibility Sovereignty: Maintain status as a current Master's student or graduate within one year of degree completion, acting as the primary "Source of Emerging Talent."

• Communication Architecture: Operate fluently in English or French to facilitate pan-African collaboration, providing the "Visual Foundation" for corporate advisory and translation functions.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize a 3-to-6 month residency to acquire high-level professional experience, maximizing the "Source of Career Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Age: Maximum 30 years old at the time of commencement.

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program or graduated within the last year.

• Language: Fluent in English and/or French.

• Nationality: Must be a national of an AfDB Member Country.

• Tech Mastery: Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is a desirable advantage.
