Job Description:
- Supervise and coordinate all protocol activities including domestic and international travel arrangements
- Oversee visa processing, passport management, and related travel documentation for Executives and staff
- Ensure provision of airport courtesies and seamless travel experience for Management and key stakeholders
- Validate completeness and accuracy of documentation submitted to embassies and regulatory bodies
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with embassies, immigration, customs, airlines, and other government agencies
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (CEO’s Office, Company Secretariat, Business Units) to align protocol services with business needs
- Engage with external service providers (hotels, airlines, logistics partners) to negotiate favorable terms and service levels
- Supervise Protocol Officers and support staff, assigning roles and monitoring performance
- Provide guidance and coaching to ensure high service standards
- Recommend training and development interventions for team members
- Provide advisory support to Executives and staff on travel requirements, policies, and best route options
- Coordinate end-to-end travel planning including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics
- Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s Travel Policy and operational guidelines
- Monitor travel-related costs and ensure cost-effective service delivery
- Support the Unit Head in identifying cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality
- Track service performance levels and implement improvements where required
- Support planning and execution of corporate events requiring protocol services
- Coordinate logistics and protocol arrangements for official visits and high-profile engagements
- Ensure adherence to operational risk guidelines relating to travel and staff movement
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all protocol activities
Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- First Degree in any discipline
- Relevant certifications in travel management, logistics, or protocol (advantage)
Experience
- Minimum of 5–7 years relevant experience in protocol, travel management, or logistics supervisory experience is required
